Sal I have both products...and I like the Paint perfection alot..its a nice one step product and does just like it says...it does minor corrections and cleans and protects...

I have not had a bad product from Hi Temp yet...

I have not used the Fine Finish yet as I just got it a month ago along with the new Joe Juice thats a new Multi surface sealant...Top of the Line Auto Detailing Supplies want this stuff to try on plastics and interior plastics also....

I like the Paint perfection a lot better than poli seal....lasts better and a better looking finish....very workable also....and cheap...lol....worth getting....

also if you wnt a nice sealant..try the Terminator ...this stuff rocks as far as lasting and shine...I gave sample to Pat300zx and he used it on his jet ski and sid its a great shine...slick and very durable..now that's on a water craft..

The only thing about the Terminator that turned me off is the really really long curing time.
Al you also use thier paint levelers? How would you say they compare to Meguiars or Menzerna?

I got my Hi-Temp (HT-69, aka Paint Perfection and Terminator sealant) in today. I am planning to use them on a Jet Black bimmer X3 today. I am just hoping that the HT-69 won't affect the Terminator in any way.

I love my Hi Temp Extreme power cut plus
That with a black or yellow edge wool, meguiars cut n shine white wool or LC foamed wool is the bees knees

Plus it's cheap, never gumms up and you can get a flawless finish with it and wool if the RPM's are slowed at the end

I've got a hi temp distributor in Florida who I also get lake country pads at wholesale price

I want to try their smooth cut and Terminator

Just tried out the HT-69 (paint perfection) today. Results were less than stellar, I think that is due largely to my inexperience with the product and the paint that I was working on.

It micromarred the paint, BMW Jet Black, which is very soft (ie. I marred it when doing an IPA wipe with DD Uber MFs today...) pretty badly. I knew I used way too much product, but after seeing the marring, I said f*ck it, and went over it with ZAIO (which is a great finisher for black cars, btw) which removed "most" of the micromarring.

I dunno whether I should use the Terminator now or stay with the Zaino system and use Z2PRO.

Dream Machines what other products do you use from Hi Temp that are good to have? I was looking at getting their line of polishes from least aggressive to most aggressive. Still debating on the Hi Temp like or Meg 105, 95, 83, 82 and 80? Do you know how well they work with a PC and 4" pads?

HT-EC (extreme cut) works well with a PC and 4" pads, I've done it a few times.

I would also look into their tire cleaner, for $15 a gallon, it dilutes 1:1, and IMO it is the best tire/wheel well cleaner you can buy.

Their Trim and Molding Renew is good stuff too, one of my customers actually commented on how nice the finish on the trim held up on his daughter's CR-V with it.

I wouldn't read too much into my post about the bimmer, the paint on that thing is absolute shit IMO, it doesn't respond well to much of anything. I should be doing some cars that will be a much better test for the Paint Perfection. If I ever get around to detailing the family beater (Envoy), I will definitely use Terminator on that, too.

BTW, if you are shopping at TOL, you may want to look at GR-40 Trim Cleaner too, excellent for prepping trim for dressing and removing wax stains.

    I have the Grape Tire dressing...the trim renewer....all the levelers.....Poly plate Spray sealant...Tire wheel cleaner....Terminator.....Joes Juice....paint Perfection...

and a few other I can not think of....Anthony O from Optimum use to use Hi Temp before he got invilved with Optimun..and he still uses some now as far as I know....he is the one who first turned me on to the line..and like I said..never had a product not perform well for me....

I gavePat300zx a sample of some products like the Paint Perfection and Terminator and he got back to me and said they are very good products..and thanked me for turning him on to them..

Hi Temp is a very over looked brand....and cost peanuts to try out

Top of the Line was where I was looking but I have recently found Auto Pro Detailing, also with amazing customer service and have more Hi Temp then what they list on the site.
What product from Hi Temp would be good to use on wheel wells and for Engine plastics and rubbers (something similar to Meg Hyper Dressing).
I was thinking maybe stickin with Meg as far as polishes, then have Hi Temp products such as tire cleaner, tire dressing, HT 69, terminator sealant, extreme clean, bumper renew, spot remover and protein stain remover. Then have some DG (111, AW and FC&S) and also some FK1 products.
SLOWLY I am getting more people asking me to clean their cars, noone wants a full on detail but a nice clean car. I am looking to keep my product line down to just a few companies to make ordering easier and DG and Hi Temp prices are really hard to beat.

Joes Juice would be used on windows as a replacement for rain X (or similar)? And on plastic (headlights and moldings) as a sealant?

Gave the Paint Perfection another go today, this time on a beat up silver Buick. On a UDM and white CCS pads, it removed light swirling and cleaned the paint VERY VERY well. Like, so well that I went through 9 pads with just this step.

Topped with OCW, it came out great.

Im curious how HT 69 compares to Meguiars D151. I may have to just try both I guess.
