Help with single stage and camera flash

    So, my first single stage paint correction (and my first complete attempt at wet sanding) resulted in the following picture (below). Car is a 1978 Mercedes SL350 I believe in re-sprayed single stage black. Procedure was:

    ONR wash with GS
    Clay with Adams
    3m 2000 grit wetsand
    SIP X2 Flex Rotary 3403
    106FA x1 Flex Rotary 3403
    1Z Glanz by Hand with Red Applicator
    OID with Adams blue Microfiber

    What went wrong here? I have not worked with single stage before, and I am having
    trouble identifying how/what went wrong. (Sorry pictures aren't perfect)

    Try doing a wipe down with a wax/grease remover. OID can be a bit tricky to use, especially if you apply too much.

    maybe you didnt fully corrected it or, didnt break down the polishs fully. I would try a wipe down and if that doesnt work go back to polishing.
