Chemical Guys stuff

I have almost all the CG products in gallons and I love them. But I would like to get some diversity in my collection and want to see what you guys would offer for trades. The only things I will not trade are waxes, sealants, and glazes because I use and love them a lot. I have everything from CG Wheel Gel (not out yet), CG CWC to CG Speed Wipe and CG Silk Shine.

OK GUYS, I AM REALLY LOOKING FOR FK425, ANY DODO PRODUCTS, AND SOME CLEANER WAXES LIKE SV CF, DODO LIME PRIME, OR ZYMOL HD. THE PRODUCTS HAVE TO BE NEW, OR ONLY USED A COUPLE OF TIMES. I AM ALSO INTERESTED IN DODO WAXES, AND WILL BE WILLING TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE BY TRADE AND CASH. What kinds of soap do you have? in particluar the Strong wash

 

Citrus Wash Clear. It doesn't have the glossing agents, strictly a cleaner and a very good one.

 

Thanks! I just tried the CWG and it was amazing, great scent, endless suds, great lubricity, and left an amazing gloss behind. Very economical also. I could not find the CWC on their website.

 

Yeah, CG doesn't really update their site, LoL.

what ratio are you using it at for basic washes????

 

I used 1/2 oz in 3 gallons of water.

 

I use to have the Glass Cleaner, but it sucked. Now I use Stoners or Lusso Glass Polish.

 

The strongest soap I have (and mabey the strongest avaiable) is Chemical Guys Citrus Wash Clear.

But if you want CWC you better hurry because that is all I am getting PM's for and I have 3 16oz of it traded already. I dont think I have much left, but I have CG Citrus Wash and Gloss which is like CWC but a bit less strong and it has a gloss agent.

 

I would not use CWG for your everyday washes. It is pretty strong and even if you dilute it correclty you can strip wax. I use CWG and CWC for cars that are being preped for paint correction/seal/wax.

For your everyday wash I would use CG Max Suds II. It is a great soap and has amazing suds, lube, sent, and a bit of gloss. But I always follow my washes with a QD so I am not worried about the gloss agent.

Is chemical guys going to release the wheel gel? How does your compares to p21s wheel gel? I might want a gallon of it. Thanks

 

Totally agree with this. Look anything citrus based will remove some/all of a wax and probably harm a sealant as well regardless of dilution. Obviously the weaker the solution the weaker the negative impact but it will still happen on some level.

 

That's probably true. I still use Ultima Paint Guard Wash for my weekly washes. I ordered CWG for the purpose of stripping off wax, but I did want to try it at the regular wash ratio just to get a feel for it. I did notice less and uneven beading on the hood after, so I ended up adding another layer of Ultima PGP on that car (super easy to do anyway).
