Honestly, I don't know why the Audi is even being compared to the others. Don't get me wrong, I think the R8 is a very nice car, but it just doesn't "tweak my soul" the way the other cars do.

While I like all of those cars, I still have a special place for the incoming U.S. Nissan GT-R.

 

Agree. I've been reading a lot about this car. It has been getting a lot of praise and it has the British and especially Z Germans very nervous (since they just released the new M3). It has outperformed Porsche, M3, and the Audi R8 in several tests.

Car and Driver did a shootout between the GT-R, Z06, and 911 Turbo, hehe.

nice review by Top Gear. But then again on the Prius, it's not supposed to be driven that way. Like Jeremy said, It's in the way you drive the car. I have a friend who has a prius, and she gets close to 50 mpg. HAts off to Top Gear, I love their show all the time.

 

It is a great show. At my work we have nothing but Prius Hybrids and those things really save gas.

 

IIRC, dynos done here in the US have shown that Gozilla was released with underrated numbers.

 

GTR is in a different class than the M3 all together. GT3 vs GT-R is a more fair comparison or against the Corvette ZR1. But it is flattering that they even compare it to the M3 tells you something about how revered it is in the Auto world. :thumb:

 

Yeah they do to a certain point sometimes. Fuel efficiency follows the law of diminishing returns as well.

I think the M3 is compared because it is a closer comparison than the M5 in price and engine size. Either way, I'm definitely excited about seeing one on the streets. I want to be the first one in my town to have one, haha. :doh:
