I just picked up some of the white pads from this seller as well. Super great guy to deal with. He told me that the white pads are identical to this 3M pad but just a different color.

    I highly recommend him. :applause:

Thinking about getting some myself. Would these be considered polishing pads or finishing pads?

Of the black or a mix? Also still trying to find out if these would be considered a polishing pad (like the UK pad) or a finishing pad?

NEVER SAID THEY WERE PURCHASED THROUGH 3M :spank:

This post is likely to get me banned because I'm not a "DB Certified Dealer" so I'll say my farewells in advance...

Enjoy the pads, I know you will !

As I said I have been buying these pads for a while...and they are great....great finishing pads ..works great with Ultrafina also....as good as the blue pads....
when I use with M105 I use 100orpm on the rotary and seem to get less problems when used to finish polish with it....

    Al,
Do you use these pads for 501? If not, which pads, and rotary or pc?

Flex DA from DD...i just checked it and it is 5.5"...i have been meaning to see how to get the new one..i heard they were switching it out for the 5" at no cost?

Actually looks like I'm wrong. The BP is 5.5"...

The first one was 6" then they released a very small amount of the 5" ones before finally settling on the current 5.5" plate.

That sucks, i wanted to try these pads...i wonder how i could get a hold of a 5" backing plate for the flex...? Would 5 1/4" pads still be cutting it too close?
