i was reading the back of my swissvax container. and it says after waxing . dont drive the car for 3 hours.
and also park in the sun . which will help deepen the gloss ..do you guys do this?

Well I dont leave the vehicle out in the sun but when dealing with the high end waxes I wait several hours and then do a Field Glaze wipe down, works great. Oh but the sun idea does work, I've done this when I can and it really does work but here in Calgary the sun makes it's presense once in a wile so I can't do that al the time. But the times I have had the vehicle out in the sun it works really well :thumb:

Do you rinse the car after letting it sit outside for 3 hours?

Thats why I hate leaving it out in the sun too, its very dusty where I am. I just leave it in the garage, it still sweats, it just takes longer.... sometimes a lot longer :(

A good technique is to buff the wax with a 100% cotton micro fibre cloth and then spritz the paintwork with cold distilled water and wipe down, this helps to set the wax and will add extra gloss. Allow the solvents to vaporise (outgas) in the suns heat (2 – 4 hours dependant upon climatic conditions) and / or allow any residual oils to come to the surface and then remove with a soft towel.

Finally apply a very thin layer of Zaino Z-8 Grand Finale™ Spray Seal (although this product contains polymers it will ‘bond’ with waxes) buff to obtain a very high gloss, and a deep, wet finish thanks to advanced optical-clarifying polymers, it also contains anti-UV agents

Exactly what I did with Cocorso and was VERY happy with the results.

Can another coat of Swissvax be applied after having used Z8, or do we have to use cleaner fluid and begin layering SV again?

i put SW Smargd on my car last week, waither overnight to sweat in the garage, QD wipedown the next morning, looked perfect, no residue... then went out all day (car was parked out in the sun) and when i got home i noticed that the wax had sweated out even more than when it sat overnight! so be careful when you just let it sit inside...

Z-8 is fully compatable with waxes
