This is a return customer. I did her Mustang when I first got into detailing for pay so I was anxious to get the car back and see how much better I could do this time around with a lot more knowledge thanks to many of you. The car had not been detailed since I did it about a year ago and I highly doubt it had even had many if any washings either. I got to use several products that I had gotten in some trades and I loved all of them. Well here's what I did:

Tires/Wheels: The wheels got a brand new product for me in P21s Wheel Gel. This is the first time I had used this product and I must say I was really impressed. Its not real cost effective but I'll use it for my best clients and my own cars. I split a 5L container with Deep Gloss and glas he talked me into it. I had been putting off trying it for a long time and glad I finally did. I used my Griots wheel scrub, foam finger pocket, Black Magic wheel brush bent 90 degrees to get behind the spokes and lug nut brush. The wheels got MS Super Green Stuff via a MS handheld pressurized sprayer and a black shmitt. Wells got CGs Grime Reaper via a Solo hh pressurized sprayer and black shmitt. Tires were dressed with Opti-Bond Tire gel and CGs tire applicator and the wells were dressed with Adams Undercarriage spray, thanks Corey! The Undercarriage spray is just like CGs Bare Bones but with a much better smell.

Engine: Well I changed up and used some P21s Total Auto Wash that Corey had sent me. I rinsed, sprayed the TAW, agitated, rinsed, dried with leaf blower, and dressed with DG 265 Ultimate Conditioning Spray compliments of Cooter!

Wash: Since it had been so long since a good wash I used CGs Citrus Wash n Clear in my foam cannon. I used Megs Gold Class in another bucket with a grit guard and a grout sponge. The lower panels were pretreated with MS SGS and the bugs got MS Bug Off with a MS Bug Sponge.

Clay: I decided to use something I had bought a while back on my first trip to Majestic Solutions but had never used. I bought one of those ClayBlocks. I used DP 4n1 as Clay lube and the ClayBlock. I was really surprised at how well the block worked. I still prefer the traditional clay but this is a good alternative.

Trim: All the trim got DG 265.

Interior: The interior wasn't bad at all which pleases me to no end!:applause2: I used 1z Cockpit Premium. The interior was vacummed with a shop vac and several spots on the seats were treated with CGs Lightning Fast Stain Extractor. The door jambs were cleaned with DG 921 that I got from Corey too. As you can tell Corey really hooked me up and did so expecting nothing in return just tried to help me out. Corey you really helped out on this detail and I really apppreciate it bro!

Glass: Outside glass got ZAIO while I was polishing and the inside glass got CGs Glass Cleaner.

Paint: Paint got some Zaino love. I started with ZAIO with the rotary and a white LC CCS 5" pad. After I buffed off the ZAIO with a CGs yellow and black MF I did a wipedown with Zaino Z6.

LSP: Next up was a coat of Z2 Pro. I applied by hand with a blue 4" LC CCS pad on a Polishing Pal. It was buffed off with a CGs Edgeless MF and then before I took it back I did a wipedown with Z8 with a Cookie Monster MF.

Well the owner was happy and one of their clients saw the car and called me later that day to book a detail of thier car, so it was a good day! Here are the before and afters:

Nice job on the Stang! Had she been off-roading! The tires look really really dirty on the driver's side. Great work JL!!

How did you like that UCS on the engine??
What do you do with the alternator on those cars? Cover it?

Wow, you totally put the hurt on that dirt. I especially like the before and after of the wheel/tire/well...all you need to do is compare the before side skirt to the after. Same color as car then amazingly NOT the same color as car, LOL.

NICE! You never fail me with the cleanest wheels and tires, I LOVE IT!

What did you use on the steering wheel? Looks like it had lots of make up on there...

JL..great, great job there. Her repeat business speaks volumes to your talent. The trim came out nice too..not too shiny but very complimentary to the paint. Those are some nice shots too.

These threads of yours should be book marked by those who want to start using Zaino products but don't know where to start or what to use,it gives them a step by step procedure, but of course no one can easily match your results .
    Outstanding work as usual .

Thanks bro! I'm not sure what happened to those tires but they are doing a lot of construction around her developement. I really liked the UCS on the engine too...Thanks for that!

    Thanks Nica!

I have done a few different cars about this same color and Zaino makes it look really good.

Thanks MadOzodi, I was surprised at how much dirt was on that thing. I wondered if anyone else would think the sideskirt in the befores were the same color as the car, they sure looked like it.

Thanks Piet the wheels are always with you in mind mate! I only used 1z Cockpit and it did a fantastic job as always.

Its a little more work but the results are definately worth it!

    Thanks pirex, appreciate it!

Yeah always makes you feel good when you take one back and some total stranger wants you to do their car before you can even finish with the original client.

Thanks I do like the chrome accents on the gauges and 1z works great on them.

    Thanks man!

    Thanks!

Thanks richy. Thats the look I want when I do trim not too gaudy but just enough shine to accent the paint.

    Thanks bro!

I struggled finding a good solid method to the Zaino regimine but once I had mine down to what I liked I wanted to be detailed about posting it so others that want to try it won't have to go through all the research and trials. Thanks for the kind words!
