    You can't he's trying to fob you off, If that tracking number doesn't have any info yet for tracking it means its been sent out today and hasn't scanned through the main hub yet.

    Well from my questions I recieved the followning from Jim:

    "Hi

    Because the last parcel sent over a week ago has not arrived they have traced it to here in the uk and have resubmitted for international delivery

    This is what i was told by the post master today hence the number given etc

    JIM"

    Now what I have done is I've contacted the post office in the UK but due to the time difference I didn't get a chance to speak with anyone, I will be phoning the post office again tomorrow and see what they have to say about this tracking number.

    I will post what the post office in the UK tells me tomorrow, I'll be phoning nice and early to make sure I get a hold of someone, so tay tooned.

    Oh and I did not reply to Jims last e-mail.

    Does the UK have something similar to the BBB?

    I'm frustrated as well as others but I also believe in karma. What goes around comes around. :shakehead:

    FWIW, I just tracked it at the Royal Mail website and it gave me this:

    It's on its way
    Your International item, posted on 19/06/08 with reference RI684680023GB is being processed for delivery abroad.

    Good, at least we are now getting some where, thank you for the update Denzil.

    Now I understand those in this group buy are frustrated and all but by posting negative coments it dosen't help at all so please I don't want this thread getting out of hand....just saying that's all don't read to much in to what I'm saying just a caution that's all.

    Lets treat this one as a leasoned learned for all of us, and next group buy I personaly will do more background check from here on in when a group buy occurs...actually if all goes well we Detailing Bliss will very soon have a UK Forum Sponsor so no more waisting time or me dealing with such things as this in the future...so stay tooned for that anouncement :thumb:

    Carlos, thanks for taking this bull and running with it, from someone who put up for a full pot of this, I appreciate everything you have done to get this to the point it is now.

    My only complaint to this point is I paid this jackass an additional 3% of the price of the goods to wait for 3 months. I have no qualms with paying Calgary as he put it together and he had no idea that this would happen. I know @ 200bucks its not worth complaining about its just the whole premise behind it.

    Anyhoo, thanks for looking out for our best interest. It is appreciated by all involved.

    Well I just checked the tracking number and it says the following:

    "Your item, posted on 19/06/08 with reference RI684680023GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in CANADA. "

    So looks like things are moving along, good. I'll keep track of the package till it gets to Mike (Calgarydetail).

    You will see that Autoperfection is responding to some orders, and people do seem to be receiving refunds (no responses regarding product) so I thought I would at least post that this business has tried to do something, and something within the last few days, so hopefully your tracking number is still good for Canada, and the GB goes through.

    Just thought I would post my 2 min. worth of looking.

    ok good news and bad news


    the good news

    the order came in today, the bad news... not all of it was there.

    i have everything but two sample pots.

    Since we do not have another few months to wait I ordered the sample pots of rubish boys so they should be here ASAP.

    I have yet to figure out who will have to wait, i am thinking a ramdom draw.... but rest asure they ahve been ordered and should be here soon.

    so if you ordered please shoot me pm with your adress and I will get them out by monday at the latest (have to figure out the best packing method adn what not then the post office is closed sunday)

    sorry for the hassel of the two pots but i have taken care of it and they should be here within 10days

    Jim has decided to close shop till all matters are resolved and has employed someone to take orders and post them out once shop is back open to enable him to purely concentrate on the paint side of his business as he was struggling to do both.


    Glad to hear the parcel has finally arrived

    :nod: yes I agree, glad to hear the box came through, as my neck was on the line :paranoia:

    All in all Jim came through, who's fault or what the situation may be it dosen't matter any more, lets just move on and put this experiance a side, things happen and well life is life. Having said that some of you may be left with a sour taste but such is life, live and learn, I really don't know what else to say but one thing I've learned in life (well of many) is that life throws you curve balls all the time, how you deal with them is what counts.

    From the looks of things, Jim is doing his best to get to all the outstanding issues, hopefully all issues are resolved.

    Any who, I will be in contact with Jim regarding the missing items, but Mike (Calgarydetail) has taken care of the missing items and spend his own money and placed an order from Rubbish Boy. I have no doubt Ben will come through for us on this.

    Jayplay, a big thank you for all your help my friend. Very much appreciated, even though it may not seem like you did much you did lots for me in the background. I for one got nothing but respect for you :worship2:

    Oh and most importantly thank you guys (the ones that put up with this GB that went sour on us) for letting me deal with the issue, I doubt that we (Detailing Bliss members) will ever go through such a situation again, I will do my best to avoid such a situtation, that's a promise.
