Would be good to hear from those who have used both brands of sealants before.
I already have the mseal and jetseal, and wondering how it compares to the zaino, z2pro in terms of looks , durability and protection.

just thinking ahead for now , what to get next when my CG sealants run out...

CG sealants look great. But when you your talking about looks, durability and protection
NOTHING beats Zaino . You should definately give Zaino a try you won't be disapointed.

exactly as he said......CG sealants looks good..but durability is low..Mseal being the best durability for me anyways....jetseal being the shortest durability....even Fseal lasted longer on paint then jetseal..now thats with no toppers..just the sealant on paint....

Zaino has looks...and durability....the 2 longest lasting and protecting sealants I have used and tested are Zaino and DG...also forgot rejex is long laster...looks like Klasse SG....Rejex doe last a long time and protects nice...

I really like the way Jetseal looks, especially topped with a nice wax. It's very easy to apply and comes off even easier. But it doesn't last very long and I find the beading to be very poor.

Zaino Z2 Pro is the kind of all sealants and will give you many months of great beading and protection.

well I agree with you guys totally !
I'm happy with the way the CG sealants look, not sure about durability, as with all of us , we can't wait to "top it up"

my weekly maintenance regime doesn't allow me that much time to do a sealant and then a wax. it's usually one layer of lsp sealant for me. 2 layers if im lucky with time management.

I wasn't really impressed with the mseal in terms of looks. It does feel slick and durable from touch. but looks wise , i've probably been spoilt by my optimum products.

I guess the wonder results most people get with CG sealants is when they have been topped with a wax.

but anyway, the interesting thing bout detailing as a hobby is getting to try all products and enjoy the results, so yeah zaino will definetely be next when the CG sealants run out.

a few qns about zaino products, with the z2pro , it's 8 oz , how many applications you guys get out of that one bottle ? might consider buying 2 bottles in one shot.

would it be compatible if i do it this way,

    1) ONR , or Optimum Car wash
    2) z2pro
    3) z6 / z8

or even including the usual polish defect removal process, then wash with ONR , optimum car wash, then go straight to z2 pro ?

think some ppl do a iso wipedown . wonder if onr is compatible , as onr does leave something behind.

and does anyone agree with me , it's a waste to get the AIO , since I've already got the usual polishes (both abrasive and chemical cleaners)

pardon me for this long post... :)

oh and another qn about zaino z2pro, without zfx , is it only one layer a day ?

and hows it compared in terms of application and removal to the CG sealants ?

I use ONR with a capful of Z7. Then a wipe down with Z6 . I have never had a bonding issue.
Today I exerimented with using Z6 as a no rinse and it worked excellent. I am going to try Z8 this way next.

I use ZAIO evey 2-3 weeks just to make sure . I definately think ZAIO is worth getting.

Me personally I always use ZFX with both Z5pro & Z2pro, as a matter of fact I use always use 601 before DG105. I always follow the recommended instructions I believe to get the most out of the products use them as intended. When using the CG sealants I would use the
Vetruabond408 and see what that does for durability.

Zaino is just as easy to take off as CG sealants.

hmm so without the zfx, it will be limited to only one layer a day right ?

now i need to find an online retailer in the US other than zainobros that can ship overseas. The distributors here charge crazy prices for them and I want to avoid ....

or unless any kind soul can help me out here ...

My current crush is on the Collinite sealants, specifically 845 adn 476. I put a good coat of 845 on my A6 about 2 months ago. My A6 has had to sit outside a lot lately due to a garage remodel I'm doing. We've had A LOT of rain lately in STL, and water still beads extremely well on it. It's extremely slick as well. Looks are hard to determine since it's a champagne colored car, but my #1 priority is always protection over all else.

collinite waxes are by far the most durable.
