OK this is the story:I park my Car in my narrow garage which does not allow me to open the car doors completely,I bang the door in to the wall every time I open it to get in or out,so I'm looking for ideas to what to use to attach to the walls to protect the doors. Sponge? foam?carpet? what do you use?
On the quick and cheap = Hang a small thin inflatable pool raft...the kind that you can lay on in the pool that is about as long as yoru body
I would look at pipe insulation. It's neat looking and you can cut it in half, then have it go the entire lenght of your garage for a uniform look!
Thank you all for your replies,I appreciate it very much, some of you came up with the idea of using those pipe insulation foam ,I think that's what I'll do for now . I was looking at a similar product called "water noodles" which is used to float on water but pipe insulation is the same thing. Canadian Tire
They sell stuff specifically made for this application. You could look at something like this: Park Smart Wall Guard (Clear)
Thanks,I remember seeing that but wasn't sure where,to be honest with you by the time it's in my hands it will be around $30 ,I could come up with something like it for a lot less. Thanks all the same.
get some foam pipe insulation....they are rounded foam..get the larger ones for large pipes...some people insert a dowel in them and screw to the wal...some just screw the plain foam to the wall....it works..they are thick AL
I got it  You need a biger garage :fs: Hahahaha just kidding buddy, but boy some great ideas here. I was leaning to gluing some foam on the walls lol.
