nope none what so ever. I did notice a diffrent when the wax (both concours and vintage) havd time to age. meaning aplpying a second coat after a week. It looked the best this way.. but no difrence between 24 hours and 3-4 with a field glaze wipe down

Field Glaze is a Zymol product, which acts to level the first layer of wax, and has some carnuba in it as well. Its almost a quick detailer, but it does add an extra bit of pop to the appearance.

I have personally layered zymols on many occaisions, and it only really is noticeable in appearance if you let it age first. As Michael has mentioned previously, if you leave the wax to age(I do it for 2 to 3 weeks) and do another layer, you will be extremely pleased with the results. Vintage is such a durable product that it is still going very strong after this time, and the extra layer on helps to prolong and enhance this durability.

what about swissvax. does cleaner fluid act like field glaze or will it remove my first coat of swissvax

SOmeone who has used the swissvax product line would be better to answer that, maybe Pirex will chime in. I'm under the assumption that it acts as a cleanser, and would therefore remove your first coat.:shead:

is field glaze what you use before applying zymol products or do they have a "cleaner fluid" as well

No, it isn't. We use HD-Cleanse Professional, but most others just use HD-Cleanse. Field glaze is purely for leveling, and cleaning up the oils from the wax application, or as a quick detailer.

Field glaze is a QD wiith a small amount of carumba to add alittle more shine. It adds alittle more shine, as well as helps trap dust on the paint.

It is nothing like cleaner fluid. Cleaner fluid is a pre wax cleanser, it is similar to Zymol's Hd-cleanse. Both are pre wax cleansers used before the first coat of wax. There is no need to put it on after the first coat as it will just remove the previous coat

does applying Field Glaze just after you've waxed do anything? would you recommend it?
