Excessive dust attraction with SW BOS?

Am I the only one who has experienced this?
    This is what I did:
    Washed car
    Cleaner Fluid
    BOS
    3 hours in sun
    Extra wipe down

Sat in the garage over night after that, and was covered in dust by the morning. Not normal at all. With Saphir applied it did not attrack nearly as much dust. Not too sure if this was acutally worth its price with the insane amount of dust it attracts. :waiting:

Also, washed the car a few days later, beaded up great, but as soon as the wash was over the slickness was totally gone. Again, something that does not happen with Saphir. I am using the same soap as I always have been (Prima Mystique)

After noticing the slickness was 100% gone, I put another coat of BOS on, hopefully this problem does not continue to happen.

Did you try a cold water spritz or a QD to remove the oils that evaporated out after a couple hours?

There was none. So just a simple microfiber was needed.

No your not the only one that has noticed this euroslvt. I noticed this with Divine as well. I kepe thinking I'm doing something wrong so I'll keep using it to see if I get the same results, so far used Divine twice and the second time around it was different so that's why I say user error (on my self that is).

I'm looking forward to hear...er..read what others have to say.

Interesting. Did you also have the same problem after a wash? This is what really confused me. I know Prima Mystique does not strip wax, as to why the slickness was totally gone still baffles me.:shead:

The car is not a daily driver, so I will have to check out the dusting after that wash and second application.

I wonder what user error it could be?

Yes, I had the same problems after a wash or two..now I didn't have the dusting problem like you with Divine but after two washes in one week Divine was gone....now the reason why I say it's user error in my part is becuase I then applied Divine on a nice blue Subaru and it's been a few weeks and it's still looking great and beading really good. We have had about 7 days of non stop rain and I drove by the Subaru every day and it was beading very, very nice and like I said it's been a few weeks already. So that's why I say it's probably user error...I just need to experiment more and more with Swissvax that's all.

On another note, I applied a healthy coat of Vintage on a black Subaru and I had no dusting issues what's so ever, but then again I've been using Zymol products for a lon time now so I'm more conforatble with Zymol then Swissvax....infact I had the same issues with Vintage when I first started using it, so again that's why I say user error...but that's just me....the thing that I fin strange is that more and more users of Swissvax are having the same issues..kinda odd :shead: :shead: :shead:

Never seen dusting with concorso myself. Could be because it still was some oil on the paint. You should go over with a QD after 3-4 hours.

I just picked up some Concorso but am not sure of the "proper" application technique. Can someone clarify the correct way to apply it. I found nothing on their site and for some reason the handbook request page will not work.
    Thanks all.

It is possible, but I did a final wipe down without a QD, didnt look like there was any hazing from the oils. Ill try a QD next time, hopefully it will improve.

Guess I will have to buy a Zymol wax and give it a shot if I do not get an improvement, cant hurt to try new things.:thumb:

    joep Welcome to Detailing

i have have the same problem with waxes that are high in oil content using cold water for a final wipe down should help the oils in the wax cure faster or as Bence suggested FK 425 placed in the freezer and remove before it feezes up
