This is my friend's 2000 Camaro. The paint was in really bad shape, oxidizing and with really deep swirls and scratches. The wing on this thing was really beat up. This car has been going through the car wash since 2000 and it has never been clayed, polished, or waxed. Given the extent of the damage and the cc being rock hard, this was a 1 1/2 days project. Lol! The funny thing is that she was actually thinking about selling it and buying a new car, but after she saw the results, she changed her mind and decided to keep it.
I did a full exterior and interior detail, and it took me about 16.5 hours. The car belongs to a friend of mine, so I did not charge her. I had offered to do it for free simply because I like that car and because of the color, I knew it would look amazing. She offered to pay for the supplies, so I let her buy me the pads, the clay, and the Menzerna. She is so happy with the results and feels bad about all the labor I put into it that she wants to take me out to lunch the entire week :headbang:, I'll let her so she stops feeling bad. BTW, she is bringing back tomorrow, so I can add some Danase Wet Glaze.
Hehe, great job Doc! :headbang: That was a very nice gesture of you! I did my friend's car too but for $100 and she felt bad because I had spent just over 12 hours detailing her car. So, she decided to tip me $100 and insisted on me keeping it.
I taught her how to wash and dry her car and I had her order over $100 worth of stuff like Waffle Weave Drying Towels, wool mitts, car shampoo, etc. If anything fails, she lives 10 minutes from me.
Wow very nice turna round, the vehicle was in rough shape but you sure turned it around well done :applause: Oh by the way is this the owner: Um...aranoia:...um...she looks hot by the way
