The plastic surface correction

hi,

I tried the plastic surface correction yesterday.

This is my mobile phone.




1. wet sanding
- 1st : 1500 grit
- 2nd : 2500 grit



2. Buffing
- 1st : Meg No.84 Power Cleaner + CCS Orange light cutting pad
- 2nd : Menzerna IP + CCS White polishing pad

3. LSP : P21S carnauba wax :giggle:

P.S I used Black&Deck KP600.
It's an orbital buffer.

Great work there... Did you use a rotary? How'd you hold the phone down...

I detail my phone too! I work by hand though. I use M105 on a microfiber, and it works wonders!

I used a orbital buffer, B&D KP600.
I turned the pad side up held strictly with my feet.
Then I ran the buffer and rubbing the phone over the pad.

I'm sorry my english is not enough.

 

I admit, the first thing I did when I got my iPhone was KAIO the back of it.

hehe that's awesome.. i tried to wetsand my guitar and polished it.. the result is cr*p. i dont think varnish can be corrected.. i was so sad:fs:
