This has been posted a couple times, nobody has used it... It would be a hell of a deal if it works.

Ah sorry. Guess I shoulda used the search feature. Maybe i'll pick it up and see if it works and then share it with everyone. Though, I think i'd need a real paint gauge to see if theres a huge/minor difference in the readings.

See if you can find someone in your area with an expensive gauge, meet up with them and do some comparisons.

If I remember correctly it was the acurasy that makes this gauge cheap...but I can't remember exactly. I remember the last post about this gauge and something about the acurasy but that's about all

If you purhcase the gauge adriankeith do a review and give us your feed back, I'd love to hear your feed back on it and yes like jshillin said it would be great if you could compare it to another gauge.

Oh if you go a head and purchase it make sure you can get your money back, you never know that's all.

I am picking one up today...Ill let you know how it is. It's on sale for $69.99 and I have a 15% off coupon.

I used this one this past weekend and I was pretty impressed with it. Its not a Posi but it might fit the need for the amount of work I am doing.

I got mine the other day and I really like it. I calibrated it per the instructions and the enclosed calibration foil. The gauge will allow you to measure in mils or microns. I did some test readings and it worked great on my truck.

I think this gauge is perfect for me. I am a weekend warrior and most of my details are done on the side for several clients. Granted I will not be able to measure plastics or fiberglass. Most of my clients don't request graphs of their car or ask to keep them on file. This product will allow me to get a read on the condition of the clear coat and figure out abrasive I can go while safely preserving the paint finish.
