Car parked and got hit PICS inside

So its me and my girl's Brand new Subaru Tribeca 08 loaded with everything. Ive spend probably like around $1500 worth of products just to maintain the vehicle and make it look brand new. I would park the car far so I wont get dings from stupid people. Today I decided to park it close to a CVS pharmacy parking lot and 10 mins. after, I walked in front and saw scratches on driver side corner bumper that was from a vehicle who was turning and hit from his corner also and just flew off without even leaving a note or waiting. I mean WTF is wrong with these A$$H*les.. Im so mad and never want to drive the car again. I cannot believe it no matter how much you take care of your car, these idiot drivers dont care and give a 2 SH*T about everybody else on the road.. well just wanted to vent out ....

Its hard to see but there is some paint that came off..

Yeah its worth a shot, if they do maybe the police can get the guy via plate. Sorry about the car, some people just suck.

That really sucks. I hate parking lots.

 

That really does blow. I can park out in the lower 40 and i'll come out and have a couple cars parked right next to mine. Ticks me off.

oh man that's just wrong :shakehead: I see this happen all the time, a friend of mine purhcased a brand new BMW parked it at work and got bashed from the two people that park beside him...oh did he ever yell at them...oh and you know what the owners of the car told him "why did you buy an expensive car?" man that right there deserves a punch if you ask me...any who sorry to hear about the vehicle.

See that's why my Lexus stays in the garage and I drive my rust bucket Jeep around :thumb:

 

No sh!t, never fails, I'll park far away in parking lots and come out and there are cars all around mine. It's like they do it just to hack a brother off.

 

I hear you. I do the same thing and when I come out there is always some big truck parked next to me. I always do a quick walk around my car to inspect it before I get in.

 

man.. i guess im not the only one..i always inspect the car everytime.. I was in a shock first and was indenial for a minute and then I just realize people here in Staten Island NY are such mofos and idiots. I wish I had another rust bucket to drive around but at the moment, its the only one I have.

 

what do you think guys? I can buff out most of it but the top portion has paint that came off..

 

That sucks... Same thing happened too me twice in a year..

 

yup Calgary sucls for this as well. That is why my accord is 5 months old yet has under 1000KM's on it. I still have that redline on both sets of my tires. I would rather take transit than have someone scratch my car.

Good news is most of that should be removable if you are careful with a rotary a light compound and some patience. Not all of it will come out though. You would be supprised by how much better you can make it...but it sucks none the less.

 

Sorry to see damage like that, it just defies belief sometimes... folk just dont seem to care!

I'd be persuing any camera evidence I could find myself, and getting them to pay for the repair.

im not going to pursue anymore.. let karma takes care of that.. For me, I am a law abiding citizen and it would be rightful if I accidentally hit someone to wait for the owner or leave a contact info... I was really upset that time but I had to control and hold myself as much as I want to pursue and slapped that person, I will contain myself..Thanks for the support..

I feel for you...there are so many ppl that can't drive....

 

I definitely understand what you're going through. You do everything you can to make it easier for everyone NOT to hit your car, but somehow careless people manage to hit it anyway. WTF???

My experience is a lot worse than yours. My BMW 530i was TOTALED on new years eve several years ago by a drunk driver. It was parked on the street in front of my house. What sucks even more is that i really liked this car and held a lot of sentimental value for me because my GF and I took European delivery of this car and we had fond memories during the ED experience. Sadly this car is gone and totaled.

The driver actually hit and run another vehicle and sped up my street where she lost control and slammed into my car. Last i heard, the driver was prosecuted and lost her case.

Some people just have no regard and respect for other people's properties.

 

Wow, that looks like a bad one. Glad no one got hurt, but I hear you on the sentimental value. But after all, it's just a car and you and your GF are safe and sound!!!

 

I'd be getting some dog shit in a baggie and rubbing it on their door handles...how do you like me know, douche bag? Man, stuff like that pisses me off.

 

A few months ago I saw someone back into a brand new Z06 Vette and take off. Little did they realize that I was sitting in my car on a lunch break and got their tag number and gave it to the owner when they came out and saw the damage. Needless to say they were very appreciative. It was a couple of young girls in the car and they laughed when they pulled away. It wasn't even my car but I was PISSED! Why can't people just have some honesty and integrity in their lives to live up to when they make a mistake? I'm so sick of people thinking they can get away with anything and laugh about it.
