The customer brought this one yesterday when he picked up the Chrysler..this big beast is going to be a pleasure to do!! I already have 2 hours into it washing, white walls and many, many, many (you get the idea) touch up's. Anyway, here's a few before pics:
Man it has to be fun detailing these cars. I know how I felt about doing the 70 GTO and the 78 Phoenix. I just love how the lines flow on the classic cars.
The very cool thing for me is that these cars were my entry into the detailing world. I forgot how much I miss their smell, feel and sound! It's good to be home.:thumb: P1et..sure will bud..many pics to folllow.icture: Gary..LOL..not used to being called that in this context!! Hopefully I'll have 'er done in a few days.
It was restored many years ago by RM restoration so the paint is base/clear. It has been driven a lot but the paint has not been touched so I'm gonna be o.k. to put the wool to it. Thanks Tonya...got a start on it tonight..taped everything off on this one, LOL..re-installed the fender skirts and did 1/2 the hood to see how it'd turn out. I am very pleased and know the owner will be blown away. My usual goal for black has been met: a wet, black mirror!!:thumb:
Wow...:druling: nice :thumb: oooh..oooh hey richy can I make a request? Well I'm going to lol. When your done could you take a picture of the front badges please? Look forward on seeing this bad boy :cheerl:
