This comes at a good time since I need some stuff from them anyways. Still making up my mind on what shampoo to get though.

Raz5219: get the Pete's. The reason behind it is that it's cheaper, has tighter beading and lasts a lot longer. If anyone can find those quality's in a wax that's under $40, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks man, you convinced me..I'm going with the Pete's. I wish I hadn't placed an order last week though. Oh well, I'm sure I can find some other stuff to buy!

I agree..collinite 915 the Marque wax is a great looker and also a longer last than most waxes..in fact the 915 is used alot on the Barret Jackson auction cars...I seen a segment where they went back stage to where the cars are done before showing and the wax of choice was the Collinite 915 and the Sapphire paste ...

915 has been holding up real well on my truck and I been turning all the guys at work onto Collinite products.

I think 5050 is 16oz right? or is it? because if it is then oz for oz 5050 is cheaper. :shead:

I think huge props are in order to Paul here. I know he wants to enter the high-end market..what wax maker doesnt? Most of us dont need to drop 250 dollars on a wax, even though have, but the great thing about chemical guys is their quality at a reasonable price. He tried it, there was obviously an uproar, and then he brought them back down again to suit his customers...which i think is a great service to us...im happy cuz i want some 53 lol:thumb:

I think there is more to this story. I do not believe everything someone says about why they do things.

SO far I use JetSeal on wheels instead of DP, Poorboy's wheel sealants...seems to last longer...it's been a month so far...I also like Opti-Seal on wheels, as you don't have to wipe anything off...
