The value of your Volvo just went up $$$. You sure had a lot of help on this one Carlos. I still think you need to paint some puffy white clouds on the ceiling for those replection shots. I remember the first detail you did on the Volvo. It was in pretty rough shape back then. Car looks great now!

Well done as usual Nica, that was no "simple wash and wax" it looks like you and your helpers spent a few hours doing it,oh I loved the pic of little NICAs.:applause::applause:

how did you spread it onto the applicator ? it looks really big.
did you spread the wax around the whole applicator's perimeter or just the top half of the applicator ?

i would think that if you only apply onto the first half the pad, you would be pressing the pad full face down to spread it on the car ?
wouldn't there be no lubrication on the bottom half without the wax ?

also, when the tub becomes half full, how can the big pad fit in ?

Yes, I have to agree with you Gary. The poor Volvo needs to have the front end looked after maybe even a new front bumper along with new headlights but the rest of the vehicle is in reasonable shape and it's a smooth ride too. I couldn't have done this detail with out my little helpers :thumb: oh we had a blast detailing this vehicle. As for the puffy white clounds, I told the wife to get me either some stickers of clouds and a sun or some kind of mold that you put on the walls and then paint and she's found a few but she just hasen't found the one that I like...but soon I'll have some clouds and a sun up there..mmm..maybe I can make a hole and put my 3M Sun Gun there :giggle: :giggle:

Thank you for the feed back Gary, very much appreciated.

Thank you distrbd, Yes we spent a few hours in the garage it's so nice having help and it took lots for me to tire these helpers out lol. Glad you enjoyed it distrbd

The German applicator is a bit bigger then your regular yellow foam applicators but it's just as soft as the yellow applicators, if not softer(well at least the red side is a bit softer then the regular yellow foam applicators, white side is a bit stiffer then the regular yellow applicators). As to how I got Divine on the applicator, well I just rub the German applicator to the surface of the wax. Yes, I applied wax on the entire applicator by simply doing each end and for the middle peace of the applicator I would just fold it in half or just bend the ends a bit and it was the same process as the ends. So the entire red sode of the German applicator was primed with Divine so no way of indusing micro marring, as I kept applying more Divine on the applicator it just kept getting saturated with the wax so once this happened applying was much better.

As to when the container gets half full, like I said the German applicator is quite soft and flexible so I cant see having any issues with the German applicator but after seeing that video that matrix posted about the guy applying Divine by hand, the guy on the video mentiones that he initially started to use Divine and started by wearing down on the wax at an angle, that's a great idea as if it's an andlge then there shouldn't be any problems getting your hands nor the applicator inside the container...but I'm sure getting inside the container wont be a reall issue.

Glad you enjoyed it trhland :thumb:

Thank you Usjdmtuner, glad you enjoyed the write up. Not as good as other members here, with the comparison and explenation of the wax but I gave it a shot...actually I was really hoping Calgarydetail would come over so he would do the write up but he skiped out on me  oh well his loss, he didn't get to use Divine :p:

Um question and excuse the ignorant question and I feel bad asking but um...what is FTW? Wax isn't cheap at all and the key word is "slowly" I've spent quite a bit on my wax collection so far and it all started with Victoria from then I gradually went up and up and well the sky is the limit now :shakehead:

Thanks klumz...you crazy your wiper snapers these days :chris: hahahaha just teasing :peace:

Well I haven't used my Swissvax Mystery so I can't compare to it just yet but I have used BOS and to be honest I can't compare Divine with BOS becuase they are totally different wax's, different league. Divine in my opinion is 20x better then BOS. I'll be using Mystery this weekend so I'll b eable to compare Mystery with Divine shortly :thumb: I personaly think BOS is a great wax but I was stuned with the results of Divine...one day has passed and I'm looking forward on pulling the car out in the natural sun light and comparing the end results with what I'm used to seeing with Vintage..like I said fist impresion is that Divine has an edge over Vintage but only by seeing the vehicle ouside in natural sun light will I be able to give it a fair comparison.

    Glad you enjoyed it :peace:

Glad you enjoyed it Al, I have to agree with you it's hard not to notice the difference Divine made but seeing the results inside the garage is different compared to natural sun light. I'm really looking forward to a sunny day and bringing out the car and admire the end results of Divine.

Yes, the paint was is much better condition compared to the way it was a few months ago, the reflection Divine left was very impresive and I really like the trunk reflection.....very pleased with the end results.

lol...thank you Motor  my little helpers and I had a blast...oh I only have one little girl Motor the other two are nease and nephew I always have a blast with them.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :chest:

:thumb: it's nice havin a great collection Usjdmtuner but it's even better being able to put all th eproducts to good use, I know what you mean about having products you haven't had time to use and want more I'm the same way but what I enjoy the best is havin options, but that's just me :hippie:

Thanks for the review Nica. Its nice having someone that has used both Vintage and now Divine that can give a review. I can't wait to hear your final review and comparison once you get some sun shots. Now if you get Paul's new wax you will be able to compare the 3 top tier waxes!:applause2: Car looks great and loved seeing the kids help out!
