been using it by rotary polisher to clean, enhance gloss and protect paint for six months on my daily driver ever since 2006.

All I do is wash, clay and then quick spray by rotary and then wipe off any residue with a towel and I've got six months of protection.
I once worked it for 30 mins on one panel and the paint became like a pool of water.
Extremely slick product.

Of all those products Sonus Clay is the only thing I have used.

 

Liquid Glasss is the best wax you can get OTC IMO. it's what my father always used and what's I always used prior joining forums and tried other brands. The only real thing bad I have to say about it is it's stain plastic and trim. It's a polymer based product so look wise it's more shiny. It's also very durable!

When someone ask me what's the better wax I can buy local, I always tell them about LQ. (I also tell them to tap trim)

Mothers is also a good brand imo. There QD and soap are pretty good in my book.

 

Any sealant or polish that turns trims white is made from very old technology polymer

Today's does not do that and even shines up trims

What makes a rotary the preferred method of application for driven quick spray?

With a rotary, it will eliminate the need to hand or machine polish a car if it loses any shine from lets say polishing but not sealing or waxing in the harsh australian sun or any other place that gets really hot, humid and oxidation is a problem (florida, California etc)
up to 50 C in south aussie summer and bugger all ozone layer or protection due to wide open spaces means no wax or sealant on a car can be curtains for paintwork.

It brings back all of the lost shine and will enhance the gloss/colour/wetness as well

you get a slicker finish and added protection by rotary than if you apply with a towel and if you use it by orbital or rotary after every wash, the gloss gets higher and higher and after six months, the wetness will be insane.

So what you can do is do a correction, seal it all up and then after every wash or once every month, two or three, apply with the rotary and watch the paint get richer, wetter, deeper, clearer

A porter cable would be just as good though

 

I have. I think they're "solid" products, just not as mainstream as others talked about here.

Ironically, I live about 5 miles from their headquarters. I've visited their place several times. Old family company, now run by the two sons--who are both real car guys. They've been around a long time. Not a lot of products. IMHO, probably comparable to Meg's products?

I have used several Sonus Products and everyone of them are worth the cost you pay for them. Their Clay is great, their pads both SFX and Original are great, their polish is good and their SFX Applicator is very nice (three stage and made out of what seems like the same foam as their SFX pads...VERY Nice). I have nothing bad to say about sonus products only good experiences at good prices.

 

Also, Sonus Customer service is Top Notch, speedy delivery, good packing (not as good as DD though) and very personable.

 

Smartwax is a brand rarely discussed.

 

Permagard and Glare are two that should be talked about more

I do not see discussion about Prima
I really like Prima Swirl (used with PC with orandge LC CCS pad and finished with a white LC CCS pad), Prima Hydro is a great WAUD or can be used as a wax booster after car is dried, it also made Rain X opsolete and Prima Amigo is a great glaze. I am going to try Prima Epic (their sealant) next.

 

I've got to add 1 here... Collinite (across the whole range) My hubby uses this on his Mustang religiously as 1st stage protectant, then tops with boutique stuff
