Here are the things I've purchased since my last photo. Ordered from AGO & DD (of course), Griot's & Classic Motoring Accessories...with a visit to Harbor Freight and finally Big Lots (earlier tonight actually). I think I have enough car wash to last a while; may even have to give out some samples to the StL folks. It took me a while to get the picture just right so that there wasn't any glare from the 7.5" CCS pad plastic bags and to have the DD.com sticker show up. So while at Big Lots tonight to pick up a cooler for my driver's education event this weekend, I stumbled across the green pump spray bottle and figured I'd pick one up just for the hell of it. While browsing around further, I stumbled upon two refurb. 1400psi Karchers for $50 each. Had the box in my hands then remembered I'd made that Autobarn purchase and also modded the foam gun. So I put the box down. On the other side of the rack were the 1750psi (iirc) Karchers for $99...kept walking to get my cooler, w00t!

I do not yet have a cabinet worthy of my sticker. I'm very excited about using the Duragloss. If the weather's nice enough tomorrow, I may get to use some of the new stuff!
I just found my old friend Aquawax yesterday and applied and was again blown away by the looks and slickness it provided. I hadn't used it in a while. Last night it rained and was further impressed again by how the water beaded up so nice. GOOD STUFF!!!
great selection of products....your set now..also my favoritr pads..green and white CCS pads.. little hint..when you do your car in the 601/105 next day do AW..then top it with the 845 x2 a day apart..the AW on the paint will let the 845 slide on so easy you will use barely any to cover the car...but do 2 coats of 845...a day apart..then post your picture here..you will be amazed at the look.... Hehehe thanks! Ummmm, the restraint was not buying a Karcher...ya, that's the ticket! :angel: Al, one of your more recent posts convinced me to get the green CCS pads, so thank you. Over the past year, quite a few members of AGO, who are also members here, have sung the praises of AW and DG of course. So it only seemed logical to pick up a proven product since I have more than just my car to work on this year. And thanks also for the hint Al, that's exactly what I'm going to do for my parents' cars! I'll be sure to post pics and remember the Show and Shine format! It's strugglin to get to 50*F here so no fun today. :thumb:
Thanks! If next weekend turns out to be a good one, I'll be using the pads on my buddy's '99 Boxster. Hopefully, I won't have to use the green 7.5" CCS pads, but I'll do my best to give an opinion of em. :thumb:
I just got one of those pump sprayers from Home Depot for 6 bucks and I love it. How much was it at Big Lots? Thanks.
Very nice order. Remember to shake the crap out of the Insulator Wax before using...after shaking, the product should be VERY thin.
IIRC, it was $4.50. Any more and I probably wouldn't have bought one. I shook the bejeezus outta the 845 the night I bought it; before the picture. Holy pickles it took a while before the liquid was consistent throught. Thanks T, I was hoping to stumble upon some great bargains @ BL like you have...alas, the BL gods do not favor me. :
