I got a sample of Black Wow from my good buddy Ed (HighEndDetail)
This is the second time I used Black Wow. The is the first time on my truck, as you can see in the pic.
It took more than a small amount to get full coverage. It’s a little more work than; say 303 or DG#201. First I washed off my bed rails with water/alcohol 50/50. Applied BW to the trim and waited 15 minutes. Sprayed water on the trim and took a microfiber towel to wipe off the excess. So today is Thursday 3/27/08. Two things I want to see. How long will it last and will it hold up in the rain. We shall see! I will post again when either shows first.

Sparkie...I have had good luck with BW on the Famous Ford Fade....I applied it twice...then wiped it a few times..then washed the truck....after drying I applied the DG201 on top..its been 5 months now I believe and it still looks great..I see the truck daily at work....I may hit it 201 soon to freshen it up ...to me the 201 protects the BW from the elements and the BW stays looking like new

You will start to use less and less of BW once the applicator gets primed. Now I dont even apply BW to the applicator!!!

I don't know what others are using, but I use foam applicator. It's more efficient, and it only costs $0.40 at local Big Lots.

    Nice review Sparkmyster :thumb:

Look forward to the update, I'm quite pleased with Back WOW, it does last quite a bit. Longer then any other product I've ever used.

Thank you for sharing with us :peace:

We had some rain over the weekend and my truck is outside 24/7. No runs so far...:applause2:
Today is 3/31/08 check out the pic. I wonder how long this stuff is going to hold up. So far so good!

I like an MF applicator for this as opposed to a foam applicator.

The foam soaked absorbed too much product, and wasn't quite robust enough. I think the MF applicator just had a little more oomph.

If you use the proper amount of Black Wow and wipe off any excess you'll never get or have runs.

Majority of people from what I see that report runs is because they are using to much product.

A little bit goes a long way.

thanks for keeping an eye on durability. I think I got about the same durability on my g/f's BMW trim.
