As I've been taught by everyone, finish preparation is the biggest contributor to the final finished look. That being said I cant take credit for this C&B since the important work was done by Tom Horvath in the System One demos at Detailfest.

The only thing I can say about the following pictures is, if you have any doubt about System One, these should put your mind at ease. Tom Horvath took out horrible scratches in the demo (from glass in a wax I used, but thats another story of yours truly's stupidity :yikes:).

The finish he gave to my car was beyond impressive. Any of the people watching the demo can attest to the incredible change in the look of the finish.
He then used the System One wax to provide the protection to the finish. The car looked like it had metal flake floating on it. I asked Tom if he would mind if I used a few LSP carnauba based products and . of course, he had no problems with the idea.

The day after Detailfest I had a little fun using 2 of the newest LSPs on the market....Wolfgang Fuzion AND Dodo Supernatural. Here are the pics.....

Both LSPs were a breeze to use. The Fuzion went on a little easier but the difference was negligble. Both were equally easy to take off (probably because of the immaculate finish provided by System One).

Which one do I like better? The answer is both, they both have slightly different looks. All LSPs have their own strengths which is why I like trying so many different types. I think these two new offerings can be matched against any high end wax on the market and are probably my newest favs:headbang:

    Smith2287 Welcome to Detailing

Wow the car looks great, I have to order up some system one polish and give it a shot. Also both of the waxes interest me as well but I am leaning toward supernatural. Again your car looks great!!!!!

I was fortunate to spend a lot of time with Tom at Dinner Friday and then again on Sunday......He is very modest considering his accomplishments. I was told by someone else that one of the cars he restored won the Pebble Beach Concours a few years ago !!)

When you have a man of that experience who truly understands automotive paints, you tend to listen and learn (even at my ripe old age). They have analyzed the effect of their polish not just wiyj paint meters but at the microscopic level using electron microscopes.

He explained to me that it is important with automotive paints to get in and done as quickly as possible and not just grind away on the paint. Again, anyone at the event can tell you how scratched the hood of my car was nd what he did was nothing short of amazing.

They invent and manufacture their own products and they are used on boat Gel coats and many other items.

The wax can be diluted as a QD and can be used on tires (for a flat finish) and even on the interior. I was told by one of the detailers at Detailfest that it even removed blood from a seatbelt (not bad for a spray was?)

It will be interesting to see what others here think of the polish and process AFTER using it.

PS : For all the geniuses that said this has fillers you are WRONG and taht has been proven
