Quick Connects for SunJoe SPX3001

So I bought a quick-connect kit from amazon for my SunJoe SPX 3001. It works for the most part for other connections that I add to the hose but for some reason, the connection leaks when I connect the hose to the PW. I also have to turn off the water before changing the connections. Can anyone recommend a decent quick-connect kit that won't break the bank that also has an auto-stop feature without having to turn off the water every time?
