My BMW has creaks and groans in the window frames. I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to the felt inside the frames, however I’m not sure if I should apply any lubricating product to it at all. So far, I’ve just tried brushing the felt with a rubber brush, which has helped SOME, but the noise is still there. Any help is appreciated.
As a retired Mercedes mechanic we used a small bottle about 3 inches tall of silicone lube and used an acid brush to install. Don't know if they still do that but a visit to the MB parts counter may help. Mercedes Benz usually has a solution for all squeak and rattles even though you have a bmw
