Hey guys, I've been a horrible detailer and have let my car get to a point that is embarrassing! But to my defense I've been averaging 60-65 hours at work and it is a DD with aggressive brake pads so don't judge me lol. I know opti-coat is a popular option for paint but I want to hear what everybody thinks the best looking coating is for race red (non metallic RED)? Quartz finest? EXO? Opti? I want opinions. But I also plan on using: Gtechniq C4 Gtechniq G1 And whatever the paint gets I'll put on the wheels. I've tried a few carnaubas on this car and just never seem to get the deep wet look I want so I want to hear y'all's thoughts. Thanks Kody
I'll have to whip up some pics of it this weekend. I hate myself for letting it get this bad but life has been CRAZY lately.
I'm starting to lean towards opti, as I can't buy cquartz finest. But seeing as this will be used on my DD as well as wifey's jeep I want something that's gonna look great on my red and make the color really pop. Her jeep is a heavy metallic blue and has great depth and gloss already.
Figured I'd bump this up and let everyone know what I ended up using but I picked a bottle of Cquartz (new formula) during their Black Friday sale. probably gonna do wifey's car first as mine will get a little more time put into it. I'll be sure to do a full write up on both when the products get here.
