What's up everyone, I'm working on the interior of a MK1 TT and was hoping someone had experience with the plastic trim pieces in these cars. The silver trim on the doors, steering wheel and knee bolsters are scratched up and I'm wondering what will help reduce the depth of the scratches. There are a few pictures below to show what I'm working with.

The knee bolster feels like its got a clear coat on it, its much smoother than the other trim and it doesn't feel plasticky like those do. If it does have a clear then could I use a light polish to bring down the scratches? Any help on the silver plastic trim would be great, that's where I'm most stuck.

    Thanks!

Remove and paint or just replace with new parts. Don't think there is much you can do to fix those.
