Detailing my fathers Chevy Tahoe and did a 50/50 on the hood to see what kind of results to expect when i attack the entire vehicle.

Using a griots orbital 6' polisher with 5" backing plate and foam pads from uber.

I used fg400 with orange, sf4500 with green, and powerlock with black

I just have this shot of the 50/50 with water beading, need to get a better photo setup to show the fine scratches removed. Some deeper scratches I had to let be.

Being my first go at using a machine polisher I'm sure i'll get better.

thanks guys... As far as the fg400 goes, could i sue it with the Mequiars microfiber cutting pad and see better results on some of the deeper scratches. I just felt the uber orange wasn't doing enough cutting and more polishing with the fg400.

I'm looking to be doing a heavily scratched black Mercedes sometime soon using the fg400, sf4500, powerlock, and 845 as the lsp. im thinking using the megs microfiber cutting pad, green uber, black uber, and hand apply the 845.
