Here's another Porsche! Booked in for a paint correction detail over a couple of days. The paintwork was in a pretty bad way, and needed some serious clarity brought back into the lacquer.

Wash and decontamination - Chemical Guys Wash n' Clear for the shampoo via two bucket method with Microfibre Madness mitts, Auto Finesse Avalance and Auto Finesse Citrus for pre wash, rinsed and then clayed using the clay mitt, washed again and patt dried.

Products used were Rupes Bigfoot, Zephir and Diamond Gloss polishes with Rupes green and white pads for correction and refinement. IPA wipedown after.

Auto Finesse Powerseal applied by machine with a Chemical Guys hexlogic finishing pad, with Auto Finesse Spirit wax and Sonax BSD spritz on top.

Wheels, exhaust pipes and calipers were protected with Sonax wheel sealant, with the glass cleaned with Auto Finesse Crystal and then protected with Car Pro glass sealant.

Interior was vacummed throughout, Gliptone leather conditioner applied to the hard backed seats, leather dash and door inserts. Chemical Guys Inner Clean for plastics. Foolishly I forgot to take pics of the interior!!

    Onto the pictures!

All done and patiently waiting for it's owner. Note this detail was carried out over two days. After day one, the car was wrapped overnight to prevent any dust sitting on the paintwork, and double wrapped as it awaits collection. Each wheel was also wrapped prior to the body so no tyre dressing would come into contact with the paintwork when moving the cover about - don't want any mess do we?! :thumb:
