This client saw some previous work of mine from a couple cars ago and contacted me interested in cleaning up his son's Yaris. They are both big into outdoor stuff so this Yaris had been through it all. It's daily driven and goes camping, biking, etc. Goal of this particular detail was to clean up the paint as best as possible and get the interior straightened out. This Yaris had lots and lots of scratches and imperfections that would not be able to be dealt with other than wet sand / touch up paint but I was able to make a lot of them disappear or be less apparent. Also, when I first looked at the car I noticed the condition was different on the front and it had indeed been resprayed. There was a little bit of overspray on the edges of the fenders but other than that it was okay. I made sure to approach the repainted areas a little less aggressively since I don't have a paint meter and it wasn't in as poor condition as the rest of the car. Interior took a long time just wiping down every surface and vacuuming up everything. Came out looking better I think. Foam wash Clay bar Dried Masked Griot's DA with Meguiar's Microfiber pad / Uber green foam pad on the repainted areas Menzerna FG400 Menzerna Power Lock. Griot's 3" DA with carpet attachment and Folex on the floormats. The morning after it arrived... Not much could be done with these due to how deep they were: Dried, super hard sap or something on the roof: This took a couple passes but finally came out: This also improved significantly: Broken glass in the hatch area, be careful! Claying: Checking out the condition... Let's get busy... Hard to get some 50/50's on this color for some reason. Pulled out to see what it looks like after wiping off the PL... Interior afters: Thanks for looking!
