Although the body was pretty straight and in great overall shape for being a 2006, the pictures reveal that it obviously needed some serious correction and protection. I didn't think it was this bad when I first saw the truck until after I had clayed it and put it under the lights. I knew it had some serious reflection potential though!

I received some new goodies for Christmas from my awesome in-laws so I was excited to try them.

    Foam wash
    Clay
    Dried
    Masked
    Griot's DA with yellow/green pads
    Menzerna FG400
    Menzerna Power Lock

Total time was over 15hrs over two days. At 2:20am my wife told me to knock it off and come to bed, lol.

    As it arrived at 8:00am...

Clay bar was consistently dirty, especially on the front.

Nice reflections going on here. Too bad the sun had mostly gone down already.

Nice work looks great. I just finished same make and model and year. I used a coating on the one i did. Power lock is one of the favorite sealants goes on smooth and wipes off sooooo easy and its really slick feeling.

Yeah, owners always get a kick out of how the paint feels when I tell them to feel it.
