My sister-in-law just bought this Civic and although it's in great shape for a car with over 100k miles, it was still in need of a good polishing. It had medium to heavy swirls and an overall dull finish. I'm pretty happy with the results and the metallic flake really pops now when the sun hits it! Dawn wash Clayed Dried Masked off Menzerna FG400 Menzerna PowerLock Before pictures, unfortunately no sun in the early morning. The clay stayed consistently dirty throughout most of the body panels Under the lights 50/50 on the hood Before on top of driver's side fender After Before on driver's side door After Difference on the doors 50/50 on the trunk Afters out the sun Thanks for looking!
Looks great! Was that car in a wreck? Has she (or you) pulled the carfax? The reason I ask, and it may just be lighting, but that driver side rear door looks a totally different color than the rest of the car in the before pics, and it kind of looks like it has more orange peel and less clarity in the afters. If it has had body work, and been repainted, be careful in that area!
Hmm, I don't believe so. I can't see the difference you are referring to. If it comes up in the future though, what precautions do you suggest on a car that has had a panel painted?
