I just ordered a 2015 4 series with dakota leather. I was wondering if I need to start using leather care products right away or is that over kill? I was only planning to apply a thin layer of 1Z leather care to feed the leather and add some suppleness.

Maybe I don't need to rush into this just yet though? I'd hate to apply it and it take away that crisp matte finish from the factory.

    Thoughts?

If you really like and want to keep new leather smell longer - Raceglaze leather balm is the best choice. Its the only balm I use exclusevly on X5 and leather still smells new even though vehicle is already 5 years old.
