Pre-owned Ferrari 599 HGTE picked up from one of my clients in dire need of restorative level correction. In a word this car was "Tore up".................. some of the worse paint work finishing coming out of Marenello however the good news is I could and did fix this now gorgeous exotic.

    The horror......................

Hard water etch.................... I earned my keep on this job.

Time to get started on the wash, Napa Valley insects in memory................................

    Deep defects.

    Serious correction needed.

Behind the C - Pillar, there was no room for machine correction so by hand with the tedious slowness was the order of the day.

    Making the needed improvements.

The boys in Marenello sanded right up to the edge and then did not correct the scratches, to add to the failness.........................installed the C-Pillar yea!!!!!.

I fixed it........................with the slow hand method(SHM), this as you can guess took a little time.

    C-Pillars riddled with sanding scratches.

Sanding scratches in the mirror cups....................... believe it.

Mirror stalks are a textured surface, textured surfaces do not release compound and waxes easily...................... this is a understatement.

    Two hours later..........................

Did I mention there was hard water etching...................................

    All better.

    6.0 Liter V-12 beauty.

Remember the Infratech pic at the onset of this detail, same area of the door with the clarity.

    Getting the look......................

Big Italian cruiser looking it's best.

Water spots removed and paint polished in the jambs, trunk rubber seals cleaned and conditioned.

Final wipedown before sun pics were taken.

I remember someone from RUPES saying that there were only 6 professional detailers in Italy lol. This sorta proves his stats.
