Buying a few products outside of the US?

There is a wheel cleaner, tire dressing, and a few other products I was looking into buying from a retailer in the UK.

How do I make sure these items are acceptable to import? Retailer has told me it's my responsibility as has Fed Ex, don't want any issues.

I have purchased a few items from retailers in the U.K. and have had no issues.

 

Same here ... as long as you don't buy a lot of stuff you should be fine. I have also bought stuff from Ali Express (China) with no issues.

Is there a GOV site that actually works that outlines what I can bring in? I see people on the forums all the time asking for the MSDS of different products and I'd like to be able to understand what I'm importing without fear of difficulty of importing. If a shipment gets held, I lose the money... I prefer to be able to understand the regulations.

 

I order from Auto Finesse all the time. No issues yet.
