Battery Acid clean up

I had a customer call me to do a complete interior cleaning. They told me that battery acid had spilled in the back and I wasn't sure if I would be able to clean it up. I didn't want to use my extractor cause of the acid. So I used steam, Folex and once it was clean I used the extractor. I had not cleaned the trunk jam yet when I took the picture.

 

wow great work. didn't think it was possible to fix that.

 

Ya me ether I was very surprised how it turned out.

Did you use anything to neutralize the acid first, like baking soda?
