    Hi all,

I'm new to this forum just tonight.

It was suggested to me that I share my experience with Mytee and my Mytee Lite II 8070 carpet extractor.

Long and short of it, I've had a terrible experience getting the company to honour their warranty on the machine. Started with pump problems after a few uses...and yes I used only water. Then to a vac motor, melted wiring, blown switches etc.

Here is a link to the thread I created on AGO.
It's 11 pages long and has over 4,400 views. I don't want to reinvent the wheel here so I'll just provide the link. It includes similar experiences from others as well as a post or two from the company.

At the end of the day, Mytee Only sent me a pump after I told them I would post my experience online. It took them over three weeks to do so however.

Look fwd to questions and input.

I want an extractor, and some day, by golly I will get one. But, my local detail suppy store told me they quit carrying Mytee because of issues just like the ones you have.

Mytee has updated the 8070 Lite for 2014. I believe it has the HP60 motor now. Hopefully that is a good thing. They do need to work on their customer service though.. Not like the machines are super cheap.
