This client called after his brother had used us to apply Opticoat to a bunch of heavy equipment for him. It was a brand new Cherokee and he wanted it protected properly from the get go. Turns out the dealer washed it so it needed a wee bit o' polishing. Shocking.

All jambs and body seams cleaned with Exclusive APC and RG brushes
Foamed with Exclusive APC mixed 1:1 in my foam cannon
Washed with MM Incredimitt / Ultima soap
    Decontaminated with IronX
Tires / wheels cleaned with Exclusive APC @ 3:1
Correction work was done with Rupes 15 / Megs MF cutting disc / 3D Cut / Megs 101
Finishing work done with Griots DA / white Rupes finishing pad / HD polish
    Wiped down with Carpro Eraser
    Protection was Opticoat V2

The truck upon our arrival. We had seen a bit of snow recently so it was a bit dirty.

Letting the foam dwell for a few minutes before a high pressure rinse to remove as much of the loose grit / dirt before washing by hand.

Pretty much what the entire truck looked like. The passenger side wasn't bad but the drivers side needed going over twice with Megs MF disc / Megs 101 to knock down the damage.

Looking good enough to deserve Opticoat.

With wheels removed to clean and coat, we were able to apply Opticoat to the entire calliper, front and back.

As the entire exhaust tip was the same black chrome as the wheels, we cleaned and coated the tips ( inside and out ) with Opticoat.

As mentioned, the wheels were removed and coated as well to ensure that the brake dust puking Brembo's would be easy to clean up after.

    .
After polishing and OC2 application, the owner couldn't believe the transformation on his "brand new" truck.

Nice work, love the color too. I wanted a GC SRT for the family ride, but settled the on the Durango RT because of $$$$

Only had to two step the drivers side. For some reason the drivers side was extremely bad while the rest of the car wasn't too bad. Roof was mint. Go figure, they probably just hosed it off! LOL

Great job Ken! How do you like pairing the Rupes pads with the Griot's DA?

Fantastic job. I would not be able to complete that truck to that standard I 13hrs.

Did you find that ironx pulled out a significant amount of contaminants on a vehicoe so new? Was it worthwhile?
