Just completed 997 C4S, this was a CPO vehicle out of Denver CO which had obviously been driven in the snow.........a lot. It needed it all as Black cars always do and with enough time spent the car is now looking so good and the new owner is committed to maintaining it properly, here are a few pics before the job commenced. After the wash, the obligatory "Dirty clay shot", particulate build up in full. Pulling off the crusty yellowed film, to be replaced by fresh X-Pel Ultimate tightness. Reverse 50/50, showing that when the original film was applied.......................it was applied over serious defects and marring(Nobody will know................. till this day). Front bumper had a ton of scratches, now looking good enough to be wrapped again. Rear decklid had been de-badged, just a little marring left behind................................... Making it all better. With the cleaness now. Rear bumper not so nice. After. More evidence of bad washing. Previous owner kicking the lower rocker(Drivers side) soccer style. Deep compounding needed. During the initial deep cutting stage. New film being applied. Lower rocker coming back to life. Snow driven.................salt damaged lugs needed replacement. New OE tightness. Fruits of my labor. Final wipedown. 10:00PM delivery, and a VERY happy camper.
Very nice, he better be happy, that turned out great like always! Gotta love the film application over serious damage, I just pulled some off a 430 the there day with same look, thanks for sharing up!
