A local forum member approached me about having his 999R corrected for the first time after seeing the 1199 Panigale I did recently. Owner decided on an 80%+ correction and we went with a 2-step correction to achieve this. About 7 hours went into this job.

No wax present at all on the paint....no water beading whatsoever, bike needed some love.

After washing and claying I brought it inside to get it ready for correction work. Plenty of defects to deal with.

After compounding and before the final polishing, here are a few sun shots. The sun was setting so I got what sun pics I could. The final polishing would bring more gloss and clarity to the paint.

Excellent work on the 999! Did you crank it up? The. 999 sounds better than the panigale to me.

Never without the owner's permission and presence. This owner was kind enough to wind it all the way up for me.....astonishing sound.

    Thank you

Really nice work, must be a nightmare with all those little panels and small bits everywhere.
