This BMW belongs to a really good friend of mine. He's a true car enthusiast but as it does with most of us, life gets in the way and we get too busy to keep up with cleaning our cars. He asked me to help and of course I was happy to. Wheels/tires cleaned Dawn wash Clayed Dried Masked off Menzerna FG400 Menzerna PL As it arrived... Gotta love those BMW brakes... Interior just needed a good vacuum and wipe down Clay and after clay... Some 50/50 shots after FG400... Cleaning up the engine bay and interior a little bit Afters... Thank you for looking
did you use DA or rotary with Menzerna FG400 and what pad. Did you follow with finishing polish or just straight to Menzerna PL. Excellent job, looks like a new car.
Ah! I knew I forgot something! I used the Griot's machine. And the FG400 cleared it up so well and didn't leave behind anything that I went straight to the PL.
On the interior I just used a generic interior spray and cleaned it up. The weather floor mats I washed with P21S and a brush, sprayed off, then dried. And then of course vacuumed. This was the 2nd or 3rd BMW of this specific "gen" so to speak that I have worked on. Both were about the same condition and it wasn't overly difficult working with the paint. Really, really starting to like the FG400.
Great work, what a difference. I see he has the M Sport wheels, always liked those. Good thing this wasn't Jet Black!
