Picked up a 3 pack of Uber Yellow Poly Clay last week and gave it a shot today. Very nice clay bars. I used Ultima Waterless Wash Concentrate as clay lube. Did a section of a hood on a 13 FJ Cruiser with the Nanoskin Wash Mitt and then went over the same section with Uber Yellow Poly Clay. Pkged clean clay bar Nanoskin at work Same section done with Uber Yellow Poly Clay and UWW as lube I love the Nanoskin because it saves time, but as you can see the Uber Yellow Poly Clay picked up more contaminants. Finished product Nanoskin, Clay and DG 501/601 Combo.
Duragloss 531 on any rubber and vinyl and Adams Spray Sealant on plastic trim and any matte black surfaces like the wheels and door pillars.
nice review.how long did the job take? also you had to use 2 different products to do 2 different things correct? just curious.thanks.
Took 5 hrs. The Nanoskin and Clay perform the same job, but the Nanoskin is much faster. Nanoskin works great on flat surfaces, you still need clay to remove those hard to reach areas and curves. I think clay does a better job, it just takes longer to get the job done.
