Anyone use any of his products? He is always at the local car show with anyone of his supercars. He has a bunch of sweet machines they all look flawless however they are usually all brand new.

I used all his products for years, starting in 1999.
You had to learn how to apply thin coats of his Z2 and Z5 products to really get the best out of them, along with learning how to mix and use the ZFX drying accelerator product.
I was able to get all of these products down to a science, by first using smaller 1-2oz plastic bottles to make up the Z-product and so many drops of ZFX, depending on the temps, humidity, etc..

His Z9 Leather cleaner/condtioner is really the best product for my shop and I just ordered 8 bottles of it today from a local Zaino rep in LA. It really cleans leather well and removes all the glossy, dirty oils, leaving a nice, clean, matte finish to the leather. The leather is also "grippy" which is a good thing if you like to driver fast and corner a lot, right ?? :)

His AIO product, is also my go-to product for all wood trim in vehicles, and it always makes the wood trim look clear, revealing the grain pattern better and imparts a nicely "just finished" look to the trim.

His Leather in a Bottle Conditioner, Z10 is also a very good product that I use when my Client wants a nice "leather smell" to their seats.

The Clear Seal product he produced years ago was way ahead of its time, and has been probably surpassed by many others.

Its ironic today, some what-20+-years later or so, that the newest technological clear sealants want one to apply "very thin even coats" - something Sal Zaino was telling his customers to do way, way, back then.. I am so glad I learned so long ago how do do just that successfully..

You can find his products on a lot of Corvettes at Corvette Club functions, and probably a lot of other vehicles. I used to have a local Zaino rep up here in the Seattle area of Washington, and his red Solara was stunning with probably hundreds of layers of Z2 and/or Z5. You can always tell a car that has lots of Zaino on it..

Sal is a great guy. I'm starting to circulate his products in now. Testing his clear seal now. So far, I like the results! I'm working with clear seal now without a Z5 base, but will soon correct a few issues on my Rubicon and set up a nice Z5 base then further coat with clear seal. Sal regularly attends our Cars and Coffee and is a great guy and knows his product well. That orange Gallardo is actually an Aventador which I had the pleasure of checking out a few weeks ago. What part of NJ are you in?

I just thought of something else I like - its the Zaino Clear View Glass Polish Z12.

It works great for me especially on glass sunroofs that are all water spotted from years of neglect. I use it with a 3" or 4" foam pad and my Meguiars G110v Random Orbital, or if I need more spin, I just use my Makita 9227C Rotary..

Glad to hear that he gives out product and stuff at car shows ! He must be doing something right to afford those honking nice cars too !
I think it is so cool that you live close to where his store is !!! Ask for Sal Zaino.. He must be an old guy like me.. :)

    Good luck !

    been using zaino since 2004.

Leather in a bottle is my go to leather product, love his clay bars z2 is a great product, if you are looking for a great line of products, with incredible customer support Zaino has always been great to me.

Also their products do what they claim, been that way for years. If it wasnt for opticoat i would probably still be using his sealants on my cars

Back a few years ago when I was detailing for customers, I had one guy insist that I use his Zaino. I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with it.

I've never picked it up myself, I think partly because I hate the naming convention. I wish they'd call their stuff "Zaino Sealant" or "Zaino Detail Spray" instead of Z-number or Z-letter-letter. :shead:

I'm back. :). Got a new fleet of vehicles that I'm interested in keeping nice. And with a baby on the way, a little side income could be good, too.
