We were asked to detailing this 3 year old Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. On initial inspection you would think it looks to be in fantastic condition, but the owner is a perfectionist and wanted every defect taken out. This is how the car looked on arrival (still very clean): So as i said looks fantastic already, but there were many RDS's within the paint and some swirls...i did struggle to capture this on my compact camera, a white car in a white room is not a good combination to picture but im hoping you can see what i was working with: Correction initially was going to be done using Meguiars MF system as the car is carbon fibre I thought this would be the best option for correction, but it didnt even make a difference to it, so switched over to Scholls Concepts compounds and corrected with them and Chemical Guys Hex Pads: Once corrected went over the car with Duragloss 111 followed by two layers of Swissvax Shield, The matte areas of the bodywork was treated to Swissvax Opaque, the trims to Swissvax Nano Express, Wheels protected with Swissvax Autobahn, tyres dressed with Swissvax Pneu and Glass with Dodo Juice Clearly Menthol. The interior was hoovered and wiped down and carbon fiber treated to Swissvax Shield: The Engine bay was steam cleaned and then protected with Swissvax Shield on the painted and carbon areas and the engine trim protected with Gtechniq C2v3: and the finished car: and here is a video we made of walking around the car post detail: Prism Detailing Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Swissvax Correction Detail - YouTube For us this was a great pleasure to work on, such a fantastic car made to look perfect. Crazy how a good detailer can make a noticable improvement to a car's finish even though to the casual observer, it already looks perfect.
