Never Dull should work fine. Apply some sealant to the tips frequently. Looks like you're set. Not sure how long the wheel guard will last. When the weather gets nicer, pull the wheels and do them up with a long lasting coating from Optimum, Carpro etc. That way you'll only have to do them once a year. :)

If you haven't got any pads yet, 2 orange for cutting, 2 blue for light polishing and a black for applying wax/sealant.

    Update:
Haven't done a wash/detail on the car yet. Hope to do it soon. The weather hasn't cooperated on my days off. Might wait now until I get my garage cleaned and organized before I do it.

All I have done so far is a quick rinse of the car. I have not had a chance to get at it as I am trying to complete the garage first. I will post my progress.
    Cheers

I have FINALLY gotten a chance to give the car a proper wash. I washed it today (yesterday now) using Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild shampoo. I then moved it into the garage and dried it using a Griot's Waffle Weave drying cloth/sheet. I then Clay Bar'd it with Dodo's Grey Clay using their Born Slippy for most of the car and Griot's Speed Shine for one side. Next up was my first attempt at swirl removal.
I put the Orange pad on the Griot's and dabbed on some of the Menzerma. I polished the entire hood on the first speed. Once it dried I buffed it off but noticed no real difference. I then applied it again along with the entire car. Once it dried in I buffed it off using the White Griot's microfiber cloths. There seemed to be little to no difference. There are still marks on the paint but the really light swirls looked to be gone. Do I need to order a different pad or should I turn up the speed and apply more pressure?

Today I plan to apply the CG Blacklight followed by Jetseal and a couple coats of Hardcore Paste wax.

What do you guys recommend I do? Should I carry on with the application of the CG products and come back to the marks later? I plan to be on the highway a lot later the week and would like to get some protection on the car now so I don't have to go through all of this again next week.
    Thanks

Welcome to the forum! I recommend working your griots at a speed of 5 or 6 with the orange pad to remove the swirls and scratches. Make sure the polish flashes before you wipe it off. You know if it is flashing because it'll almost look like Vaseline on the paint.

    Thanks.
I waited until it turned to a haze like wax.

If your happy with all the results and don't care if it's 100% perfect then its better for you. Most of us on here go insane (which is why my car is silver) at the sight of swirls. But yeah, using fg400 on speed 1 on a griots isn't really going to do much. bump it up ot 5 or 6 and be sure to actually use the full working time of the product. fg400 finishes down really good, almost lsp ready. (to some people it is good enough, however) If you really want, you can come back with a finish polish whether it be sonax 3/6 or SF4000 to really put a good shine on it.

    Thanks again.
I am a bit particular but not insane about it. I am thinking I might go re-do the front hood momentarily on a higher speed as you mentioned then do the CG Blacklight followed by Jetseal. On my last vehicle (Truck) I let it sit overnight before applying the Paste Wax. I am thinking of the same now as I have to hit the open road and time is not on my side to get it all done properly.

    Hey,
Great idea to work on one panel like the front hood. Best thing to do would be to work on one 2' x 2' section and see the results. Once you get the results you want with the pads and polish/compound move on and do the rest of the car. The actual time it takes to polish a car could take 8+ hours so doing a few panels at a time is not a bad idea if you are strapped for time. Do it in portions over a week or two based on your schedule. Of course you'll still have to prep each panel properly before polishing.

I need to get more Wax Removal cloths. I found the small white ones I had from Griot's to be the best. I have to get some ASAP so I can get the car done. Do anyone recommend the cheap ones you get at Crappy Tire to remove wax? As I mentioned above I planned to polish the hood today and possibly Blacklight & Jetseal. My supply has diminished over the years while I was injured and not detailing my vehicle. I do have some blue ones that I ordered from eShine. Some have a Red border and others a Black one. Would they be any good?
