There was a video of this stuff out last year that just blew everyone's mind where chocolate sauce just ran off a pair of white sneakers. Looks like the product is finally on the shelf. Home Depot has it in inventory. Apparently it has a bit of a milky haze upon drying, so I'm not really sure how much, if any, application it may have in automotive detailing other than some interior surfaces. Durability is also a bit ? Anyone try it yet?

Wow, that is awesome looking stuff. It seems to leave a gritty substance behind...

It dries with a slight haze, should not be touched or it will lose it's water shedding properties. Not a good product for cars, unfortunately. It also makes fabric stiff when applied.

The issue I have is that it's a two-part (cans) product with the last part (can) being mostly comprised of acetone. Regarding a vehicle, about the only use I would consider is spraying the undercarriage of a new vehicle as it would interesting to see how clean the undercarriage would stay and for how long.

has anybody tried this on a convertible top? If it really works as shown I think it would be awesome, my only concern is regarding the poster who said it makes the fabric stiff and obviously the top needs to remain pliable to fold properly.

I also wonder how long it lasts. Awesome looking product none the less.
