This van belongs to one of my regular customers. For the past three years, she's brought me this van one or two times during the summer to have it cleaned up. She refuses to take it anywhere else because she says that no one else does as good of a job as me :) While I was in town last week, she wanted me to detail her van, and naturally I obliged. It's always a mess when I work on it, but I'm always paid for the work I do so I won't complain!

So, the process. The owner opted for my Bronze exterior package and my Gold interior package. First, the wheels were hit with Wheel Brightener; the tires and wheel wells received Zep Citrus. These were all agitated with various brushes. Next, the exterior was washed with some Eagle 1 car wash soap (chosen for its environmentally friendly labeling and low price ;) ) and the two-bucket method, using a Griot's microfiber wash mitt. It was dried using Vroom Drying towels. The tires were dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant and the exterior was done.

Next, the interior. It was naturally a mess, so I had my work cut out for me. First the door jambs were cleaned with Megs APC. Next, the rear captain's seats were removed. All the interior plastics were cleaned with Megs APC, as well as the leather seats. Once this was done, the plastics were dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant and the leather was treated with Duragloss 221. The plastics around the seat mounting points were so gross that I had to remove them, and soak them in warm soapy water for an hour or so to remove the...residue. They were then hosed off before I did some more detail work with Megs APC. Then I moved onto the carpets. They were extracted using a Bissell LGM and some of the cleaning solution that came with the cleaner. I had never used it before, but it worked pretty well. Some of the tougher stains were treated with more Megs APC. The "mysterious orange substance," as I called it, was quite resilient. I think it was vomit but I feel more comfortable calling it the "mysterious orange substance." Even though there were still some stains left, I knew my work was done when the water came out of the carpets clear--the carpet was permanently damaged. Finally, the mats were hosed down and cleaned with more APC. The windows got Stoner Invisible Glass, and the van was completed.

Pictures! (The eagle-eyed among you may notice that there is a lug nut missing--this was pointed out to the customer).

I hope you are charging a hazmat charge, that is just gross.

Good work, recomendation, if she is a repeat and it looks like this every time, maybe invest in a inexpensive extractor, like a spot bot or the like, you will make it up in the interiors you do. I see you have done quite a few that were just nasty.

    great work again.

I've got a Bissell Little Green Machine that has been working really well for me. I didn't even attempt doing larger scale extraction till I got that thing. lol.

    Thanks :D
