I was in auto zone yesterday and saw a new product from 3m, apparently this is like clear bra but you can spray it on. Anyone use this stuff yet? Wonder how well it would bond if you had opti-coat, or glass on the paint.

Crap...go read some of the "real" reviews on it.

it works, just looks like crap. I would think about it for a long road trip down south in the summer when bugs are bad but nothing permanent.

has very similar properties to plastidip

I ended up picking one up a few weeks ago. Gonna spray it on the newly painted front bumper when I get it back from the shop... I commute 100 mi/day so it should offer some decent protection

It may protect against bugs, but I'm guessing that it wont do much against rock chips.

I tried it on my 2013 focus ST!

the bad thing with it is the can liked to spit out product and leave blobs on the paint that did not level out(i followed the directions to the T). the areas that did not have that issue dried 100% clear and actually turned out to be a thick film and matched the gloss of the the non covered paint and added no extra orange peel.

i ended up removing it once it dried because i was unhappy with the spots the blobs of product but I will most likely try it again

to me i doesnt rsemble the clear plasti dip at all.clear plasti dip seems to be a little cloudy

Picked it up myself a couple of weeks ago. Just waiting to give it a go . Once I finish detailing my ride.
