Why don't you post pictures and show us which products/techniques you used so we can learn something? Only posting a link to a video is just advertising to me.

I too would rather have a picture thread. It's just better for me.

Post up some Hi Res photos, sun shots etc. just like everyone else. Like the Mod said, it comes off more like advertising then anything.

It would be appreciated more by those here who do that sort of thing already

As some constructive feedback, the time you spent making a video is probably higher than the time spent in taking pictures and uploading them for us all to see.

I don't know about everyone else, but I don't have time to watch a 5 minute video each and every time someone posts a detail.

I agree, I have better things to do then watch a video of an "after" ........ now maybe if the video was showing some live action shots on how your technique is being applied etc.

The point of this forum is to gain knowledge and appreciate others hard work.

People here are very technical, when you do not appeal to that aspect anything you do may be perceived differently.

I appreciate 50/50 shots, how one used their products, what products and how they were matched with the pad used. I like to see how peoples opinions regarding paint, difficulty with the paint etc.

I'd have to agree, call me ol' fashioned in what tickles my fancy in seeing a full-out detail, but I like seeing the pictures.

The video thing doesn't give the 'details' of the detail like pictures do. I hope to see the pictures of the work that was put into this detail.

nice job, you didn't use your rupes this time.
A few before and after pictures and the tools/products you use is all you need.

Yeah, not asking for 350 photos. just some high lights. of the detail.

It'll be appreciated. Fact of the matter is, no one can be bothered to watch a video of someone detailing. It's like watching paint dry.

  16. I too will concur
