wow, truly tragic. It is amazingly sad and depressing how little life means to so many people anymore.

I sold out last car to carmax mostly because I wasn't up for the hassle but this is another good reason.

Yep. A little girl won't have a daddy anymore because some twisted idiots decided to steal his used truck and burn him instead of just stealing the truck like most car thieves do.

I'm currently selling my old DD on CL. I'm asking for ID and Insurance Cards before any test drive and I'm carrying. You don't know how many people I have scared away with just asking them for ID and insurance card.

 

Man this some messed up stuff....
As i use CL alot for selling and buying.... I need to watch out in the future...

Wow this was the dodge ram guy that went missing a few days ago? truly tragic, i hope they find the sick assholes who did this and give them the needle

 

Good idea, but since we can't carry weapons around here I usually just bring a friend :duh:.

Thinking about it now, if you're a mobile detailer you probably expose yourself to similar risks as you never really know what you're getting yourself into.

 

Why? Walk them out of the courthouse and put a bullet in the back of their heads. Capital punishment for the win!

 

Crap. My Dodge Ram is for sale currently on AutoTrader. You can never be too careful. This is awful. It would be nice if we can use that exact same Dodge Ram to run the killers over multiple times.

I never have people come over to the house unless my neighbor is home and the patrol car is parked next to the house, even then I trust no one. This is horrible.

 

I'm the same way. I have yet to meet someone at my house when I'm selling something apart from when I was selling a lawnmower and another time it was some sofas. In those cases, I at least checked on LinkedIn to see who they were. Normally I always meet a sller or buyer at Starbucks, INSIDE.

 

that's too easy (i don't disgree with what you've said, that'll work too), let them suffer each and everyday in prison. they'll live in fear (and remember what they've done) everyday and have to watch their back 24/7 and live like a caged animal. not a way to live IMO...

 

This is just sick, I can't believe people would take a life for something that is a material good.

 

And waste my hard earned tax dollars? No thanks.

I agree. And the prisons here are probably more like 4 star hotels compared to the U.S.

 

I do the starbucks thing too. I have never had an issue, but you never know. the world is filled with sick individuals.

 

Man......what a freakin' tragic ordeal. I'm sorry. But there are times "an eye for an eye" makes TOTAL sense.....THIS is one of those moments.
